Band sounds easier in at least one respect: practicing in the hot sun in shorts and a tank top would be a lot cooler than wearing a big ole football uniform, padding, and a helmet. Ugh. How do they DO it?
My kids were all in orchestra...that was grueling enough for me. Our oldest wanted to play football, but they would have wiped the field up with him. He was TINY!
