Project Life: week 15

Hello week 15! I am still in love with this project, and collecting bits daily, even if it takes me a few weeks to post the layouts. Life has been incredibly busy, and some days I only have 15 minutes to work on the album. The cool thing is, you can accomplish a lot if you have taken lots of pics and notes!
Here's the full spread:
Left side: 3 new patterned papers, flair from Nicole, a CZ journaling card, a Nisa Fiin journaling card, Studio Calico cameras, October afternoon & MS labels, a SC journal spot, LillyBee designs letters and new Smash tape.
Here's a close-up of the smash tape and letters.
And a close-up of the SC camera. Perfect to document my 1,000th iPhone photo!
I heart coffee. I heart Nicole for giving me these coffee pins.
One of the things we did this week was go to the Titanic exhibit at the Henry Ford. It was really cool. Before entering, they give you the boarding pass of an actual passenger of the ship. It gives details about the person; age, gender, what class they were in. At the end of the exhibit, you search for the name of your passenger on a wall to find out if they were survivors. 3 out of 4 of us were.
I've the cards in a glassine envelope right now, along with a photo booth strip that Evan & I took. I might put it all in one of the new envelopes coming out soon, or I may just leave them in this one.
Apparently I didn't take a photo of the whole right side. whoopsie! There are several photos of my birthday dinner at my favorite Northville restaurant, Koji. The heart Sushi graphic is from the package of chopsticks. I used a template on the photo of Max at the park, journaled with a Sharpie. Last photo is of my Bunco girls. Every time I mean to take a picture and every time I forget. This time I didn't!
Thanks for taking a look!

Project Life: week 14

Once again, I'm late posting. I finished week 14 and never got around to photographing it. The days just keep getting busier.
So here's the spread with one insert:
The left hand page. Soccer pics of Emma in goal, my friend Carolyn & I, my friend Stacy and her daughter Ryleigh, Emma's new spirit wear, and some starter seeds. I used a CZ journaling template, HS & EK old stickers, tiny text stickers, AC alpha thickers, the seed packet, and an awesome card from Erica.
The insert: I cut down an A page protector and use half. I used only tiny text stickers for continuity, and a tab from EK.
 Back side. More Easter pics.
Right side: lots of random photos. I had 4 similar from the park, so I grouped those all in the middle. Everything else is randomly placed. More HS & EK stickers, and 2 more of Erica's cards. I love these. I plan to use them again and again.
I wanted the arrow to span 2 photos, so I put it on the outside of the page protector.
Erica's awesome card.
Heide Swapp journaling spot, sewing machine, Crate paper border stickers, Cosmo Cricket patterned paper, LillyBee Designs letter stickers.
I loved the cabezas grandes! on the packet. So funny.
Thanks for looking!

Project Life: week 13

So week 13 is the week I fall behind!
I actually finished most of the layout in a day or two. Then I realized that I forgot to print out the journaling for the week, and the photo of my dead tree, and the one of Buddy (Still forgotten. Great job, Sue!) Usually this would make me crazy and feel the need to run to Costco immediately for prints. This week, I decided that these things could wait another week until I was ready to get more photos. Shocking, I know.
So here is the entire spread:
Close-up of the left side.
I got to meet a friend IRL that I didn't think I'd ever get to meet! Ranks as one of the coolest moments of our trip to Cinci. Jillibean Soup sticker, HS ghost heart & journaling spot.
My poor Magnolia tree. I look forward to it's blooms every spring, and this year they were magnificent. Until Mother Nature decided to send us back into the freeze, that is. The petals turned brown and curled up overnight. So sad. I tried to make this look like one block. Bazzill tape, Kaiser tiny letters.
First insert! A detailing of Emma's first soccer game of the high school season.
And on the backside, a detailing of Evan's tournament in Cinci. Also seen: A save the ta-tas tag that was on a t-shirt I purchased while there. Had to save it.
And insert number 2: I made an 8x8 photo collage. In the blank spot, I used a journaling card from Erica, American Crafts thickers, and Sharpie poster paint marker. I wanted white, but my pen was all dried out. Black it is!
On the backside, I had nothing. Then yesterday, I had a playdate with Nicole and her daughter gave me this sweetest little drawing. Already 8x8, as if she knew I had a blank spot in my book. I haven't gotten any drawings from a child in a really long time, and I love love it! Not the right week, but I'm going to make a note on the page protector.
The right side
Close-up of another 2 that I made to look like 1. My current food obsessions. This is also the week I learned that I can't put letter stickers on straight! AC Thickers & LillyBee Design stickers. Amy Tan paper.
Cool shot of Ev in goal, with his team creating a wall. I love how he is peeking out. I sewed a ghost arrow pointing to him. MM rub-ons.
The only photo I have of my BFF Heather. Terrible photo made better by turning it into B&W. You can't even tell how hard she is pinching me! Ormulu flair.
And a terrible car photo of us leaving town. Terrible, but awesome.
Week 13, finito!
