It also happens to coincide with my 400th post. Weird!
This is my second blog-I used to have one over at Typepad but got tired of paying to have a space to write notes to myself. I don't remember what the count was over there, but I had it for about 2 years, so I'm sure it was in the hundreds.
Which is mind boggling; that I've had hundreds of things to talk about.
So back to the anniversary...
16 years is an eternity, and the blink of an eye. I don't feel old enough to say that I've done anything for 16 years, but I have. I've known Bart since I was 15. A kid. A few years older than Emma is now. THAT blows my mind. Could she already know the person she is destined to be with?
To celebrate, the four of us are going to see Avatar tonight. A 9:00 show. (Psssst. Don't tell anyone but I went to see it this morning with my Dad in 3D). It was so visually stunning, I really don't mind seeing it again. The show is over 2 1/2 hours though, so with previews and drive time, it'll be almost 1:00 am until we get home. Soooo glad that Evan's soccer game was moved to noon tomorrow!
Let the wild rumpus start!

I know what you mean about it seeming to be forever and the blink of an eye at once. It's the same thing with having kids. You can look at them when they're 21 and still see the 4-year-old standing in front of you at the same time, and it seems so weird that they're all grown up.
