FO-hats

Skull Isle hat (Rav link) for Evan. I love the way it turned out, but he thinks it's too tight. It's supposed to be a little tight. I am going to wash it and see if I can stretch it a bit. Otherwise, I'm wearing it. It's a cool hat!
Knit in Cascade 220 wool.

Cabled beret in alpaca for me. This hat is scrumptios, even though it's not very 'beret'y. The color is rusty red, and it's soft and warm and just plain lovely. I loved it so much that I made another one for my Aunt Roberta...

...in purple wool/ mohair. Hers is even fuzzier and lighter. My first time knitting with mohair. Don't hate it, but don't think I'll be making a lot of other things with it. Just too fuzzy for me.

I love all those hats, and yes I knit the cabled beret for my sister but it didnt look very beret when she wore it. I hope the hat stretches a bit for you too so he can wear it more comfortably.
