Don't wait until Februry 8th to look for new snow boots. Not unless you want to drive to 6 stores and walk out frustrated. The only boots you will find will be tiny or pink. Trust me on this.While you're at it, don't expect to find snow pants either. The only store that has them is Dick's, and they will either be adult sized, or $80.00.
Check at least once a week to make sure current boots/snow pants fit, because evidently your children grow extra in the winter months.

I hear ya, I tried to find skiing stuff last MARCH, it was ridiculous. And expensive. Hope you have luck soon.
